Hey now! Would you look at this beauty eh? I just finished him up a few minutes ago as he's now a slightly belated present, but this it's been a happy work in progress over the last week and some change. He went from merely an intended sketch with defined details to "I think I'm gonna try this thing here and see what happens" to trying more things and voila! A happy experiment/challenge! I stained watercolor paper with coffee, water, gold and copper metallic watercolors, and salt, transferred the sketch over and painted it using calligraphy inks and silver ink. Inked over the initial sketch transfer with black india ink pen and added some details and highlights with white lead and gel pen. I hope you enjoy him as much as I enjoyed making him. I admit I'm a tad very unfamiliar with the Dragon Age games but there is an intent to make a few more of the characters this way via request, so endeavour I shall! Who will be next!?
